Let's start with a question for Cheryl: You wait until Christmas Eve to decorate your tree?? Wow. That's last minute. How long do you leave it up?
Yeah, we wait. I usually have it down within 2 days after Christmas. It all depends on my stress level and how many times I hear myself say "don't touch that"

Where do I even start?! YOU ONLY HAVE TWO PAIRS OF SHOES?! I would die. It's just that simple. No question about it. Wow. 2 pairs.
My question: What's your favorite holiday? Why? |
Just the two pair of shoes. I did just notice that my sneaker are in need of repair so I will have to go get another. These will go to the dogs for chewtoy fun.
My favorite holiday? I really do like Christmas, it may not seems so since I don't get into all the hassle. I love Chirstmas. I hate hassle. I also like the 4th of July. We like to have a picnic and do fireworks here at the house. Everyone brings a dish and a bag of flamable stuff. We eat and then set off fireworks. Since everyone brings something it is usually quite a show with little expense.

PS... yes I am catching up again. I have issues. |

Do you like board games? If so, what's your favorite - if you can just pick one, otherwise give me a top 3.
Anything trivia related. I am fairly good with useless information.

Guess I should pipe in with a question since I just answered a few.
Hmm
How did you meet your spouse?
I actually meet my husband through a personals ad. I had placed the ad in the Newsleader while living at Ft Leonard Wood in hopes that no one would answer it bc Ft wood is too far away from Springfield. I placed it only to appease my mother. She was upset that the only guys I dated were military. Well the paper ran the ad without my location, so there I was with a ton of responses. I figured why the heck not.
That is how we met.

WOW! I would never be able to do that. I'm a weeny like that. I'd be terrified to ever think of placing or responding to a personals ad.
I met my husband in the little S-town. We'd actually met several times before, but his brother (1 of the 5) was a freak and I was scared of him. lol Now I just laugh at him b/c I know he's just big and whiney - not big and scary. Nice, huh? I had an incident which nearly took my life but his twin took control of the situation and here I am now. That's what finally made us quit with the cat/mouse and finally get together.
Decorating... I am the tree person. My husband does all of the lights and everything outside while I do the tree. Fun, fun. This year we lost some lights though, and found the ones from the year before last - needless to say, we didn't have enough to do everything, so we did nothing outside. Just the tree. And window snow. I found a can of it and decided it needed used. This year with the gift card that I always receive from somebody, I'm getting Christmas stuff from the big after Christmas sales... that way next year we can go all out with little expense.
My question: How much sleep do you require to function as close to 'normal' as possible? I don't require too much - never have really - and it's a good thing! I only get about 6 or 7 hours most of the time, but can function well with an average of about 5. Too much sleep just makes me useless. _________________ Jennifer Weter

Questions, questions, questions.... Gotta love it!
Decorating the tree for me - we al get in on the act. And the animals do their best to undecorate it of course!!
Favorite Holiday: All of them? I'll take any excuse I can get for a photo op!
How I Met my Spouse: We were both working at Bass Pro shop, met, hung out, beat around the bush forever, started dating and got hitched. Nothing real exciting, but that's OK. I'm good with boring!
Sleep: I require 8+ hours to be GOOD, but can function on 5 and survive.
My Question: What kind of camera(s) do you have?
I've got two digitals - I use the little one a lot, and an SLR that I adore, but don't use as often as I would like. I reserve it for shooting portraits. _________________

I have a digital camera that I love - I'm getting another soon but this one is not going anywhere - I actually know how to use it! I also have a handy dandy 35mm camera that I still use from time to time, but not nearly as often now that I have my digi.

Four or five hours can do it for me. I have always had an issue with sleep. Neither one of my parents sleep well either. I remeber many nights during high school being up in the middle of the night and talking with my dad.
My camera? I think it is a Olympus Evolt e500. We also have an old Pentax and a Sony digital something or other.

Fave food? It would have to be Pizza. If I still lived in NJ it would be a toss up between Pizza, Cheese Steaks and Hoagies though.

What do you think of JamieLynn getting preggers?
Sadly I am a cad. I listen to all the celeb gossip as if it were news. As for this poor teen, I only wish the best for her and hope that she gets the help and support she needs for the choice she has made. |

I think her parents must be pretty crazy right now. Britt's gone crazy and JamieLynn is preggers - it's bad enough for normal families, but can you imagine what it's like with a famous family? _________________

Guess I never did this yet. I am Susan, married 13 years to my best friend, lover etc. Between us we have 7 children - thankfully they never all lived together - don't know if we would have made it - lol. And, 12 grandkids - woohoo, they are the best, should have had them first, I say
We have no pets now, our wonderful Nicki - terrier mix - we lost about 2 years ago to age and health problems.
We live in beautiful Colorado, Littleton specifically.
I am a Close to My Heart consultant, have been doing this for 10 years and still love it!!
Just signed up with Uppercase Living - the writing on the wall, last month.
Think that is it for now. Nice to read the intros.
Susan

Well Susan, it's very nice to meet you! It sounds like you have a wonderfully large family - there's nothing else like it. I'm actually going on a road trip (just me and the kids - wish me luck!) very soon to see my family. I live near my sisters and the rest of the family is down South. Are you working on anything you'd like to share with us? We'd love to see your work! _________________ Jennifer Weter
